Warranty

Somer Dental Laboratories (Somer, Inc), hereafter referred to as SDL, warrants that all dental restorations are fabricated to the specifications set forth in a completed dental prescription provided to SDL by a licensed dental professional. Furthermore, all products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed or implied and may not be modified by any agent, employee or representative of SDL.

This warranty is subject to change without notice.

SDL will, at its election, repair or replace any dental restoration, fabricated by SDL, which proves to be defective in workmanship or materials as follows, provided that the restoration is seated within 60 days of the invoice date:

Porcelain to metal (PFM), full gold / alloy, all ceramic, zirconia, single unit composite, and single unit inlay and onlay restorations are warrantied for 5 years from the invoice date.

All Ceramic; Zirconia, Lithium, Disilicate bridges/splints must be fabricated after a PMMA temp has been worn and copy milled after adjustments are confirmed.

Removables including; oral appliances, removable partial dentures, dentures and immediate partials are warrantied for 90 days from the invoice date.

Warranty on implant abutments and parts will be determined by the policy of each individual manufacturer.

Limitations

SDL is not responsible for any additional cost or fees associated with adjustments, repairs, and replacement of dental devices.

The warranty will be void for removable prosthetics fabricated without a try-in/set up.

Dental restorations must be seated by a licensed, practicing dentist in a clinical setting. The patient must adhere to semi-annual dental cleaning and exam, in the office of a licensed and practicing dentist.

As dental restorations are a custom product, no cash refunds will be allowed for returned dental restorations. SDL is not responsible for costs incurred for removal or insertion of dental restorations including lost wages, chair time or pain and suffering. Replacement or repair resulting from accident, neglect, abuse, failure of supportive tooth or tissue structure is not covered under the terms of this warranty.

All adjustments, repairs, and replacement of dental devices not made by SDL is not covered under any warranty.

Any dental restoration partially fabricated or completely fabricated by another lab other than SDL is not covered under warranty.

If customer chooses to go forward with a treatment option that is not recommended by SDL this warranty becomes void.

Original dental restoration (in whole or part of) must be returned for warranty.

Somer Dental Laboratories remake policy will not apply to any account past due.
